ORGANIC SOYBEANS, AN UNPRECEDENTED CROP IN GALICIA. INCREASINGLY REQUIRED AS A SOURCE OF VEGETABLE PROTEIN

One of the objectives of this project is to take advantage of abandoned land to convert it into farmland and to produce a quality end product that conveys our identity.

After years of trials with respectful soybean production in Galicia, we found that the yields were good. It has to do with the fact that soybean is a hydrophilic plant, that is to say, it needs water at different stages of its life. Hence the suitability of Galicia.

We plant the yellow variety because it is the type of soybean that has the highest protein content.We have one of the few organic soybean plantations not just at the Galician level, but also at the state level.

Soybean is a nitrogen-fixing crop, so we say that we feed the land, not only with the current crop but also for future crops.
